Cow's milk proteins damage the human immune system. The National Dairy Council suggest that drinking milk will promote strong bones and if you don't your bones will become brittle. So out of fear Americans consume a larger amount of dairy in their diet. Dairy products are the leading cause of food allergies as well as asthma and sinus infections. In 1989 a study was conducted in Nutrition and Cancer which linked the risk of developing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with the consumption of cow's milk and butter. It causes loss of iron and hemoglobin in infants by triggering blood loss from the intestinal tract. There are several other health problems derived from dairy consumption including colic, vitamin D toxicity, diabetes, ovarian cancer, autoimmune diseases, and childhood anemia, just to name a few.
